So for my Blender piece, I didn’t know if I wanted to make something scary or really stupid. I figured since I’m good at making skulls I should do something skeletal, but that’s about it. I also like playing with the uncanny valley where things begin to border on being human.
For the VR environment, I either wanted to do a forest or a hellscape-esque thingy. Regardless, I was gonna find a way to put a whole lot of fog in there, partially because fog will obscure the flaws in my blender piece. I mean, I’m sure if you get up close and personal to the Blender creatures you’ll be able to see that they’re actually riddled with flaws.
I don’t think I’m going to render anything either. Rendering is freaking awful and I always end up losing track of my points. I’d rather just sculpt things and deal with connecting it all later.
Since I’m writing this after-the-fact, I can say that there are only two monsters in there instead of three. This is totally due to the fact that I made the mistake of trying to troubleshoot everything with the first creature rather than do three and just work with the flaws.
