Digital Art Daydream Project. I fully intend to redo this.
This was probably my favorite digital art assignment as one of my favorite mediums of art to work with is video art. I wasn't quite sure the route I would take with it, but I wound up choosing to do more of a generalized recurring daydream rather than a legitimate specific daydream.
I know many people think I made this about my mental health but in all honesty I didn't. This piece was created as a way to cope with knowing certain people in my life exist. I can't make them not exist anymore; I can't undo what they have done, but I can outgrow them, and feel as though I am large enough to handle what they have done, and feel as though their existence means nothing.
All of the video footage was shot on an iphone, most of it sadly done with front camera. The animation was done using Adobe Animate. The music was done using Adobe Audition and it is compiled of a Hans Zimmer piece, a Max Richter Piece, an Arvo Salve piece, the THX logo noise, and a youtube video that is the audio of an interview titled "How I Got In The Penitentiary."
