Brainstorm #1

So my initial idea was to do something regarding racism. Maybe I felt I was obliged due to the fact that I am (yet again) the only black person in my class. I wasn't quite sure how to go about it, as for whatever reason if you're black and you start bringing up racism, white people start getting offended. In all honesty, if you're getting offended by somebody going "hey guys, you all are being mean to us, and we all have experience with it, this is sort of universal," chances are you're the perpetrator. If you're thinking "not exactly, I'm not the perp,"- okay imagine this. You're walking down the street and see a dude sock a toddler in the face in a crowd of people. Somebody goes "Hey! Don't punch that kid! Punching toddlers in the face is wrong" and the kid now has a bloody nose, and the first thing you say is "Ehhhhhh well, I didn't punch him." and then to hone in your point, you start pointing to random people going "and he didn't punch the kid... and she didn't either..." and then you say "so why are you so upset?", granted, we all just watched somebody break a toddlers nose. Then, a random woman starts crying, saying that they feel personally attacked because somebody shouted to not punch a child. That is what the racism conversation feels like. I am planning on making a satirical twitter persona to mock how f*****g bad we are as a society at dealing with racism.
